MASKED CAPITAL

Even the lions at the entrance to the National Zoo are wearing masks.  DC has been the most masked and careful place I have been so far - including Seattle.  Now, that IS in the four blocks that I have checked out so far, but it bodes well for the rest of the capital.

I was debating going to the Smithsonian.  Prudence said ‘no’, but my desires said ‘yes’.  I don’t know if I will ever be back here!  I super appreciated that the Smithsonian took the decision out of my hands by being closed.  I likely would have made the right choice (not going to a large indoor shared space), but it’s really cool that the Smithsonian is doing the right thing.
