Washington DC - Quite Nice!!

While Washington DC is very small (in the big picture) I am certain that it has different areas that are, um, different.  I have so far been surprised.  I have always seen DC represented as a dirty cityscape where violent crime (murder specifically) and government malfeasance breeds and multiplies.

I may have landed in a particularly nice part of DC, but it is very nice!  A lot of nice people, everyone wearing masks, and even a community herb garden for fuck’s sake!

So, I am deciding that I am a bit more provincial than I would like and that my Seattleite sensibilities have been colored by tribalism and bad media.

I will know more soon - maybe more of the same, maybe some new things.
